We headed to Amarillo, TX on July 1st, but along the way we had fun seeing friends and family and stopping for a game of golf. :) It was great seeing Roger, Vidal, Jackie, and Angelo on the way down south. Oh yeah did I mention Alberto was on cloud nine while golfing and eating Alberto's (in Greeley) breakfast burritos (he said "this is reason enough to move back here") Golf was definitely fun, we know we need to brush up on our game some more, but had a blast....besides the mosquitoes trying to eat us alive (making an extra distractor while trying to concentrate ) We go to Texas late on the 2nd. On Saturday we got ready to Alberto's cousin's Quinceañera. Ariana was beautiful and the party was fun with a lot of family to dance the night away. We spent Sunday at a 50th anniversary (my father-in-law's aunt and uncle). On the way home (which was a long way it seemed to take forever :P); Alberto & I decided to do a little shopping at Castle Rock and then saw a movie that night. We stayed in the nicest hotel that either one of us has stayed in (Thanks to Hotels.com); The Regency Hyatt. The next day was the long excursion home, but we did stop to have one more taste of Alberto's Breakfast Burritos. We had to make a stop in Laramie, just to see our old stopping ground once again...everything and everywhere we have lived is growing. It was great to have lunch with my friend Trish and catch up; we definitely need to make more plans to hang out. Here are few pics wish could of gotten some while golfing, but silly me I forgot the camera in the car.
