This year we took a trip to Nebraska for Christmas. We went out a week before and helped my parents with laying a new floor in the dining room and kitchen and then from there to front door landing :). The 3 guys worked pretty hard and got it all done. They learning a few things in the process, but all in all it turned out really nice. We spent Christmas Day at my Grandma Deaver's house and boy was it hard to even get down there with the blowing snow (It was great to see everyone!!!). We came home in the evening and what is normally a 20 minute drive from Sidney to Dalton took us over 1 hour due to the blizzard. Now this ground blizzard extended our trip due to the roads being closed, but we did finally make it back to Green River, WY to open gifts and then on to Salt Lake by nightfall. Gabe helped unpack the car while Bet scooped the driveway so that we could pull in. What a great trip it was to see family. It was sad that due to weather we were unable to meet up with my friends. On the way though we did catch up with my friend Trish and our friend Vidal in Laramie. It was great to see them because it probably has been a year since they both have been seen. But believe me it won't be happening that way this year. We are going to take a trip to Laramie to watch UW vs. UNL this could be interesting and exciting all at once...I'm just conflicted about who to cheer for...Gotta find myself a shirt that says UW and NE all in one. :) Sorry Cards did not go out this year life just got to be too hectic and I didn't get the pictures in time to make the card....I'll be on top of it for sure next year! Hope your Holiday season was wondrous and fully of great memories.
